The select salon brand KMS has been with us since 1976. This revolutionary brand has paved the way for many premium salon brands, but KMS remains one of the first to be featured exclusively in Salons.

The man behind this classic line is biochemist Jamey Mazzotta, who led the field with his dicovery of nucleoproteins, exclusively used in KMS products to moisturize while adding body and shine. KMS offers great haircare for any hair type.

Welcome to the KMS campaign for 2005:
KMS lifestyling

KMSlifestyling is the term we have coined for the KMS California approach
to hair. This word best expresses the freedom of individuality and the
versatility born of beautiful cuts and great products.

For this campaign, we gathered some of our favorite models, our core
photographic team and, of course, members of our global KMS team, and
went out on location here in California to show many of the looks possible
when versatile cuts and products meet.

This year we have chosen to focus on each model as an individual and
explore the different looks they may choose depending on where they are
and who they want to be on any given day. Whether it’s at a house party
in the Malibu Hills or hanging out by the lake in Hidden Valley, there is a
look to match the mood.

As with all our campaigns, we have captured our shots on locations in
which people live, work and play – Not in a studio. We do this and remind
hairdressers worldwide of this because our clients don’t live in studios.

The KMSlifestyling campaign has one core message born of the
California lifestyle: We are happiest when we style for our life rather than
live for our style.
