A great name in French Fashion, Yves Saint Laurent emerged from designing for Christian Dior to become one of the design heros of the 60's and 70's. YSL popularized iconic trend such as the beatnik look, tweed suits, tight pant and thigh-hi boots.
Yves Saint Laurent continued to design the YSL Haute Couture collection until his retirement in 1998. Designers such as Tom Ford and Stefano Pilati have also designed ready-to-wear collections for the famed house. |
